Displaying Olfactory Receptors of the Dog
The current canine olfactory receptor (OR) contains 1178 OR genes. It is composed from joining our previous
canine OR repertoire (version #1) with the result of computational data-mining of the canine novel assembly
(July 2004 dog whole genome shotgun, Boxer breed).
In version#2 we supply genomic coordinates for 921 ORs.
Also is avaliable the conservation of the ORs genomic organization in the canine genome and other mammals.
This was achieved using a novel algorithm, which identifies CLICs, CLusters In Conservation,
a set of multi-species conserved gene arrays.
